About Me
I'm endlessly curious about people and how they think.
That curiosity is what led me into UX, earned me a Master's degree in Human Factors Psychology, and continues to shape the way I approach design, leadership, and problem solving today. Understanding human behavior has always fascinated me. It helps explain why people make the choices they do, what motivates them, and how thoughtful design can make complex experiences feel simple.
I also have a habit of asking "Why?"
Sometimes that's uncomfortable. Sometimes it challenges assumptions. But I've found that many of the best ideas come from taking a step back and questioning the way things have always been done. Innovation isn't about being different for the sake of being different. It's about finding better ways to solve real problems.
One of the things I've learned over the years is that people don't always ask for what they actually need. A stakeholder might say, "Make it red," when what they really mean is, "Make it stand out." Or they might ask to reduce clicks when the real issue is that the experience feels cumbersome. I enjoy digging deeper to understand the underlying problem before jumping to solutions.
As a leader, I get just as much satisfaction from helping people grow as I do from solving design challenges. I've led multidisciplinary teams of UX Designers, Process Designers, Visual Designers, Researchers, Copywriters, and other creative professionals. Creating an environment where talented people can learn, collaborate, and do their best work is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.
And yes, my curiosity occasionally sends me down a rabbit hole or two. More often than not, that's where the interesting discoveries happen.
